After nearly ten years, fans are gearing up to have one last adventure and say “goodbye” to Stranger Things. And this time, Hawkins is coming straight to the big screen!

Stranger Things Finale Heads to Theaters Nationwide

Netflix is officially giving fans a super-sized sendoff by bringing the Season 5 finale to more than 500 theaters across the U.S. and Canada. The final chapter, titled “The Rightside Up”, clocks in at two hours and five minutes, shorter than Season 4’s mega-finale but still packed with enough chaos, mysteries, and monster mayhem to close out a decade of storytelling.

The nationwide screenings begin Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. ET, perfectly timed with the finale dropping on Netflix. If you’d rather avoid New Year’s Eve crowds (or the Hawkins-level anxiety), screenings will continue throughout Jan. 1, giving fans two days to experience the end of an era. Tickets go on sale Dec. 3.

What to Expect From the Final Chapter

Based on the first four episodes of Season 5- plus everything left to unravel in Volume 2, arriving Dec. 25- the finale promises answers to the questions hanging over Hawkins.

What’s going on with Will’s new powers? How far is Vecna willing to go? And what happens when every storyline, every battle, and every emotional gut punch converges in one last trip into the Upside Down?

No matter what, it’s clear Netflix is giving fans a theatrical sendoff worthy of a show that changed TV.

El Paso Is Getting Three Big Screen Screenings

El Paso fans won’t have to travel far to catch the finale on a massive screen. Three local theaters are participating- each offering screenings on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
