El Paso artists, this is your moment. Iris & Grizzmas Presents: Carols and Community is taking over the airwaves in December, uplifting the heart of our city by spotlighting local nonprofits and the musicians who keep our creative scene alive. If you’re an up-and-coming artist or know someone who deserves their flowers, this is the opportunity you don’t want to miss.
How Carols and Community Works
For two full weeks in December, Iris & Grizz will sit down with locals doing incredible work in our region, giving them a platform to share their mission and music with El Paso. First, Iris will highlight non-profits, and then the week of December 15th, Grizz will highlight a different hard-working local musician every single day on-air.
It’s about celebrating the community from every angle, from those who serve to those who inspire. This year, that spotlight could be yours.

How to Submit a Musician (Or Yourself!)
To be considered for a live on-air highlight, artists must submit a small packet of info. Musicians can nominate themselves or someone else can submit on their behalf. Here’s what you need to send:
Name and social media handles
A link to your website or music streaming platforms
A Christmas song that means something to you
Why this artist deserves to be highlighted (optional, but helpful)
Send everything to: fernando.montejano@townsquaremedia.com
Selection Timeline
Submissions are open now and the final selections will be made by Wednesday, December 10. If chosen, you’ll be featured live during the week of December 15 as part of the city’s biggest community-focused holiday celebration.
A Celebration of the City We Love
Whether it’s a nonprofit serving families or a local artist working hard at their craft, Carols and Community is focused on lifting up the people who make El Paso shine. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to put your art out there or to recognize someone who deserves to be heard, this is the time.
Send in your submissions, share the call, and help us celebrate the local musicians who make this city sing.
