LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock County Commissioner Jason Corley officially announced his candidacy for Texas’ 19th Congressional District Seat.
Corley launched an exploratory committee last month to gauge public support to run for Congress.
“I was surprised and humbled by the number of calls and messages from friends, supporters, and members of the media encouraging me to run,” Corley said.
Lubbock Congressman Jodey Arrington announced he will not seek reelection for this seat after nearly a decade in office.
Tom Sell, Abraham Enriquez and Kyle Rable have all announced plans to run for the District 19 seat.
