SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A local pediatrician has had his license temporarily suspended following allegations he sexually assaulted one of his patients.
According to a report from KSAT-12, 50-year-old Gabriel Perez has been arrested after one of his patients, a 13-year-old boy, accused Perez of sexually assaulting him during a checkup.
Perez was arrested November 21 on a charge of aggravated assault of a child.
KSAT reports a disciplinary panel of the Texas Medical Board voted to temporarily suspend his license four days later.
Investigators with the San Antonio Police Department’s Special Victims Unit say there may be more victims.
