While No. 13 Texas football’s win against Texas A&M last Friday may not end up being enough to get them into the College Football Playoff, it certainly helped convince some 2026 recruits.
The Longhorns recently jumped up to the No. 7 overall 2026 recruiting class after several players committed to the school over Thanksgiving break, with two occurring within a week of their rivalry win.
