On Saturday, the Texas football team will head to Kentucky as the Wildcats look for their first win in conference play.

In the newest Longhorn Confidential, Jon Hale of the Lexington Herald-Leader stops by to discuss if Big Blue Nation is already starting to focus on basketball season, Kentucky’s struggles on the football field this season and why the Wildcats (2-3, 0-3) have been unable to match their 10-win showing from the 2021 season. 

And since No. 21 Texas (4-2, 1-1) has never played football on Kentucky’s campus before, Hale has a suggestion for fans who need something to do in Lexington before Saturday night’s kickoff. Hint: It involves animals that aren’t Longhorns or Wildcats.
