Registration is underway for the SA Smart Challenge – a competition for local students to research San Antonio specific problems and propose an innovative solution! Clif Zintgraff & Giselle De Leon from the San Antonio Museum of Science and Technology joins us with more.
This is a competition for students grade 6-12 to research a real-life problem facing San Antonio and they work to try and solve them.
This is the 9th year of the competition, and they have worked on things from food insecurity to housing and this year’s theme is AI San Antonio and Quality of Life. How can students find a problem within San Antonio and solve it through the use of AI. There will be a portion where kids work with mentors and learn more about the city they live in in the process.
