AUSTIN, Texas — LEGO will take over Austin one brick at a time in January with a two-day convention.

Brick Convention will take place Jan. 24-25 at the Palmer Events Center with timed entry slots each day: one session from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and a second session from 2 to 5 p.m.

Attendees can enjoy LEGO displays and mosaics, a brick construction zone, tons of photo opportunities and vendors selling everything from small minifigs to large sets. The convention is also hosting a handful of guests, including contestants from the competition TV show “LEGO Masters.”

Tickets cost $15 online and $20 at the door, with a quick sellout expected. A portion of sales goes toward Creations for Charity, a holiday nonprofit that gifts LEGO sets to underprivileged children worldwide.

Brick Convention’s other Texas stops will be in Arlington from Dec. 20-21, Amarillo from Jan. 10-11 and Katy from March 14-15.
