Suspected identified in bomb threat near KENS-TV

SAN ANTONIO – The man who threatened KENS-TV on Tuesday has been identified, and no bomb device was found.

The incident occurred around 12:25 p.m. near the KENS-TV station on Fredericksburg Road.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, Felipe Cantu, 55, made comments saying he had a bomb and demanded to be put on TV. He was found by officers near the station and was arrested for Terrorist Threat.

No bomb device was found.
