Barring a last-second change of heart by members of the College Football Playoff committee, the postseason for Texas will just feature a bowl game.

Texas was ranked 13th in the second-to-last CFP rankings on Tuesday. With the final rankings and playoff bracket set to be released on Sunday, there isn’t much that an idle Texas team can do to move within reach of an at-large bid for the 12-team playoff.
