PLANO – J. Alexander’s will open its first Dallas-Fort Worth location in Plano. The restaurant is known for wood-fired cuisine, classic American fare, and strong service. It will be located at 3980 Dallas Parkway. This is the fourth Texas location. It will welcome guests early next year.
The brand is building a strong team before opening. The Plano site plans to hire 90 to 100 workers. The roles include front- and back-of-house positions. The goal is to deliver an elevated dining experience for every guest.
“Plano offers an incredible opportunity for our entry into the DFW area,” said Kristen Hohl. She serves as executive vice president of marketing for SPB Hospitality.
“The city’s growth and energy align with our values,” she said. Hohl added that they want to hire a talented team.

The restaurant will open seven days a week. The menu will feature hand-cut steaks and fresh seafood. It will also include signature salads and sandwiches. Guests can order handcrafted cocktails and wine.
The atmosphere will be refined and comfortable. A private dining room will host events and business gatherings.
Hiring begins today, Dec. 3. Interviews will take place on-site. They will run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday hours will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Interested applicants may apply in person at 3980 Dallas Parkway in Plano.
