EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The annual fall festival designed especially for teenagers, Teentober Fest: Keep It Lit, is coming back this weekend.

The free, family-friendly festival will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Judge Marquez Branch Library, 610 N. Yarbrough, alongside Ralph T. Cloud Park.

With a neon glow theme, the event promises to light up the night, featuring board and video games, interactive workshops, live Lucha Libre wrestling, a cosplay and costume contest, a teen haunted house, live music and food trucks, according to the City of El Paso.

“The goal of Teentober Fest is to connect our teenage community with opportunities for growth and success while having a great time doing it,” El Paso Public Libraries Director Norma Martinez said. “We want to give El Paso’s youth a space to explore, express, and enjoy themselves without any cost barrier.”

In addition to entertainment, the City said the event will connect teens with over 60 community organizations offering educational resources, college prep support, volunteer programs, career pathways, and creative opportunities.
