The Dallas Cowboys are taking on the Detroit Lions in an important “Thursday Night Football” showdown. Unfortunately, the Cowboys have suffered a significant injury in the third quarter.
Star receiver CeeDee Lamb has left the game and headed to the locker room with an apparent concussion.
Lamb went up for a ball in the endzone, and he hit the turf hard on his way down. Following the hit, it appeared that he was exhibiting behaviors or symptoms due to a concussion. The telecast informed about his status and why he was taken to the locker room.
Following the evidence from the replay video, he was immediately ruled out with a concussion.

The NFL has paid special attention to head injuries, especially in the last few seasons. There is the training staff that watches for players’ health on the field, but there are also third-party evaluators that are in place to pay attention to head injuries, especially concussions.
Though Lamb was protesting having to come off the field, the Cowboys star did hit his head hard on the turf. Further video evidence shown on social media also showcases Lamb with his fingers in the air in a very concerning manner.
Now, the Cowboys will place Lamb in concussion protocol. Considering the scary nature of the head hit that he took, he may not clear those protocols in the coming week.
This is just speculation, as the medical staff for the Cowboys will administer tests to see where Lamb is at in the coming days and weeks. As it looks right now, he appears to have taken a huge hit to the head.
