Where do you go when it’s time to go trick-or-treating? It’s been awhile since I’ve gone trick-or-treating; okay, it’s been a long while! From what I remember, there have always been hot spots, or must-visits, when it comes to collecting the most candy!
Now, there’s a tiny bit of debate every year in El Paso about where the “right” place to trick-or-treat is. Some say stay close to home, others say go where the candy’s good; but honestly, Halloween’s for the kids! And around here, there’s no shortage of neighborhoods that make it magical.
To settle the debate (or maybe stir it up a little), I asked El Pasoans on social media to share their go-to neighborhoods for trick-or-treating, and you all delivered! From classic family favorites to hidden gems with the best candy hauls, locals were quick to name the spots that make Halloween night in the Sun City something special.

Locals say this longtime favorite keeps the Halloween spirit alive.)EastridgeMesquite HillsSummerlin NeighborhoodAnywhere rich people live, pretty much (Look, we didn’t say it- you did. But hey, there’s usually truth in every joke, right?)
And I’ll add in my personal favorite: The Trowbridge area near Loretto Academy!
Whether you’re sticking close to home or venturing across El Paso for a few extra full-size bars, the point is to have fun, make memories, and enjoy a night where the whole city feels a little more connected by costumes and candy. Also, if someone could tell me where the house is that gives out Jell-O shots to the adults, I’d very much appreciate it!
