After sweeping Campbell in the first round of the College Station Regional, the Texas A&M Aggies are tied with the TCU Horned Frogs 1-1 at Reed Arena.
The No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament, led by head coach Jamie Morrison, is looking to defend its home court and advance one step closer against a talented Horned Frogs’ program, which swept Stephen F. Austin on Friday afternoon.
Texas A&M’s elite offensive attack performed lights-out in the sweep of the Camels, as Morrison’s squad hit .417 percent, which set a new record for hitting percentage in a three-set match during the rally-scoring era. However, the Aggies struggled with a .079 hit percentage in the first set of tonight’s contest. They bounced back nicely in the second set by defeating TCU 25-22 and evening the contest.
Kyndal Stowers and Lednicky have a combined 20 kills in the match so far, but Texas A&M has much to clean up in the third set if it looks to take down the Horned Frogs and advance in the NCAA Tournament in their first time hosting a regional at Reed Arena since 2019.

The Aggies got right back on track and didn’t miss a beat in the second set, as they evened the match 1-1 against TCU.
