In the documents, witnesses told investigators the fight involved Alvarado and his brother and a third party.

Witnesses described Alvarado as bleeding a lot after he was hit in the back of the head with a bottle.

After the fight, witnesses explained to investigators that Alvarado got into a grey SUV and allegedly followed the people he had been fighting, after they left in a blue Dodge Challenger.

According to police documents, investigators got hold of a cellphone video that reportedly shows the fight continued at a Petro Gas Station located at 1295 Horizon Blvd in Far East El Paso.

Investigators described that in the video, Monarrez appears to arrive at the gas station in a black Kia.

A 19-year-old man, who was reportedly also injured after he was allegedly hit by Alvarado’s SUV, told investigators that he saw the SUV hit Monarrez.

This second victim also describes that while he was trying to render aid to Monarrez, the SUV allegedly turned around and ran him over.

Investigators noted that the second victim suffered injuries to his chest and ankle and had road rash.

After the fight, authorities ended up finding the grey SUV at a home in the 11600 block of Valle Hermoso Drive in Socorro, noting that the front was damaged and that there was blood on the hood.

At this point, officers spoke with Alvarado and his brother.

According to police documents, Alvarado allegedly admitted to running over Monarrez but denied hitting anyone else with the SUV.

Meanwhile, the brother allegedly told investigators that Alvarado hit the second victim with the car, saying that the second victim appeared to have been holding a large rock.
