Having struggled with 12 losses in a row, Morris turned things around against Streator/Woodland on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Bulldogs could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Morris’ first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, Plano was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Peotone. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Plano couldn’t quite close it out.
Plano’s defeat dropped their record down to 8-12-1. With that draw, Morris’ record moves to 1-19-1.
Morris couldn’t quite get it done against Plano when the teams last played back in October of 2022 as they fell 4-2. Can Morris avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We’ll find out soon enough.
