The store is set to open Dec. 13 at The Centre at Preston Ridge

Belk is rolling out a fresh retail approach this December, and Frisco is one of the first cities in the country to experience it.

The 136-year-old retailer is debuting its new Belk Market concept at The Centre at Preston Ridge, offering a more curated, community-focused shopping experience tailored specifically to Frisco.

A Smaller Footprint With A Local Focus

Belk Market is designed to look and feel different from the department stores the brand is known for. Instead of a large-format layout, the Frisco location — 3333 Preston Rd #700, Frisco — features a smaller footprint with a selection of national and private-label brands chosen specifically for local shoppers. The assortment spans men’s, women’s and kids’ apparel, shoes, handbags, accessories, home décor and fine jewelry.

Rather than a static inventory, Belk Market will rotate in new merchandise frequently, with products and brands selected for Frisco’s style preferences and seasonal needs. The goal is to offer a simplified, easy-to-navigate shopping experience where customers can browse fresh arrivals each time they visit.

“We know our customers come to us for the brands and products they trust, and we’re always looking for new ways to match our shoppers’ needs,” Belk CEO Don Hendricks said in an official statement. “At the Belk Market, customers will enjoy an easy-to-shop layout, fresh new merchandise and the value and quality they’ve come to expect from us. We’re thrilled to introduce this new store format to the Frisco and Wesley Chapel communities just in time for the holidays.”

Grand Opening In Time For Holiday Shopping

Frisco’s Belk Market will officially celebrate its grand opening on Dec. 13. Festivities begin at 10 a.m. with music and complimentary treats. The first 100 guests will receive a Belk Market canvas shopping tote, adding a festive kick-off to holiday shopping at The Centre at Preston Ridge.

Belk’s Legacy Continues In North Texas

The new Frisco location adds to Belk’s nearly 300 stores across 16 states, continuing the company’s long-standing commitment to serving customers and communities throughout the Southeast. A Belk Market will also soon open in Chapel, Florida.

With the Belk Market concept, the retailer aims to blend its long-standing emphasis on value and hospitality with a modern, neighborhood-driven shopping experience.
