EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — “Riverdance 30 — The New Generation,” the latest version of the Irish dance phenomenon, will return to the Plaza Theatre for one night only next year.
The show will be held on April 28 at the Plaza Theatre in Downtown El Paso.
It is part of a tour of 67 American cities from January to June 2026.
More than 30 million people worldwide of seen “Riverdance,” a celebration of Irish dance, over the years.
This latest version gives it a fresh new look.
“Riverdance 30 — The New Generation” toured North America this year and visited more than 40 cities. That included two weeks at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and a special weekend of performances at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
“Riverdance 30 – The New Generation” rejuvenates the much-loved original show with new
innovative choreography and costumes and state-of-the-art lighting, projection and motion
graphics, according to a news release announcing the El Paso stop.
And this version of “Riverdance” features performers who were not born when the show began 30 years ago.
The El Paso show is being put on by Broadway in El Paso and Abhann Productions.
Individual tickets range from $39 to $179 when purchased at the Plaza Theatre Box Office, 125 W. Mills Ave. Additional fees may apply when ordering oline.
