For almost 40 years, bluegrass legend Alison Krauss has been making headlines with her dazzling voice and mastery of the fiddle. Lubbock will be able to get a taste of her talent as she is set to perform with her band at Buddy Holly Hall in 2026!

Illinois native Alison Krauss has rubbed shoulders with the biggest names in the music industry. Whether it’s touring with Willie Nelson or performing duets with Brad Paisley, her influence in bluegrass and country music surely speaks for itself.

If that’s not impressive enough, Krauss collaborated with former Led Zeppelin member Robert Plant for multiple projects. Their first album together, Raising Sand, was released in October 2007 and won multiple awards.

Also, for anyone who’s a fan of the 2000 film O Brother Where Art Thou?, Krauss’ voice was used in the movie’s soundtrack.

Krauss released her first album with the group Union Station in 1989 and has been performing with the band ever since.

The band’s most recent album, Arcadia, was their first album released since Grammy Award winning Paper Airplane in 2011. After playing at the biggest country and bluegrass venues across the nation, they will be taking their 2026 Arcadia tour to Lubbock.

You can get your tickets to see Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas at the Helen DeVitt Jones Theater on September 26, 2026, at the Buddy Holly Hall website.

The members you’ll be able to see at this performance are Alison Krauss on the fiddle and lead vocals, Jerry Douglass on the lap steel and vocals, Ron Black on banjo and guitar, and Barry Bales on bass.
