Count Down to Noon Year’s Eve (All Ages)

Ring in the new year early! Come dressed in your pajamas for fun, hands-on activities and a special countdown to 12:00 NOON!

Build Your Book Collection at the Bag of Book Sale

Thousands of used books will be available for all ages when our quarterly lobby book sales expand to last from Saturday, December 6, through Sunday, December 14 at Haggard Library! Items will be sold by the bagful for $10 each. Shop the book sale daily when the Library is open and the last bag is sold 30 minutes prior to closing.

All proceeds benefit the Plano Library Friends, supporting our five Plano libraries.

Join NASA Solar System Ambassador Les Murray for an exciting look at the Lucy spacecraft and its one-of-a-kind journey to explore ancient asteroids. These cosmic time capsules hold secrets from the early days of our Solar System.

Relax with The Abominable Snowman Puppet Show (Ages 0-5)

Join us for a delightful puppet show adventure! When the yeti receives an invitation to a big party, he’s not so sure he wants to leave the comfort of his cozy home. Laugh along as this shy snow creature learns about friendship, fun, and finding the courage to try something new.
