LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Lubbock County Grand Jury has formally charged a man for stabbing another man with an ice pick two months ago.
The stabbing happened at the United Supermarkets near 50th St. and Ave. Q on October 27.
LPD said officers found Anthony Zamarripa with what they described as a stab wound to his head.
According to court documents, witnesses told police at the scene that they saw Louis Gutierrez chase Zamarripa with his bike, knock him down, and then stab him.
Gutierrez then dropped the weapon and left.
He is now held in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $75,000 bond.
