But Texas (10-0) dominated Sunday against Prairie View A&M, 101-42 on a 30-point, 14-rebound night from forward Breya Cunningham. The game was also a homecoming for the Panthers’ first year head coach, Tai Dillard, a member of Texas’ 2003 Final Four team.
“It’s always special when I come back,” Dillard said. Her former coach Jody Conradt even showed up to the game.
Now the Longhorns are preparing for a road game Wednesday against UT-Rio Grande Valley. Texas holds the 12-0 record over the Vaqueros and the two have played every year since 2018.
