LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A man was indicted this week following an undercover prostitution sting operation in Lubbock.
Michael Rowland responded to an advertisement on a known prostitution website and began communicating with an undercover agent, according to court records.
Authorities said Rowland agreed to pay the agent, who he believed was a prostitute, for a sexual act. The agent then offered a 15-year-old girl for the act, and Rowland reportedly agreed.
He was indicted and charged with solicitation of prostitution with a person under 18.
