EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Fire Department crews knocked down a Condition 3 fire Wednesday evening in Central El Paso.

The call of the fire came in at 7:35 p.m. on Dec. 10 along the 300 block of Octavia Street.

According to El Paso Fire, two houses, one on Myrtle Avenue and the other on Octavia Street, were caught on fire, making the incident jump to a Condition 3 fire.

The house on Myrtle Avenue was knocked down first, then the house on Octavia Street.

The house on Octavia appeared to have been an abandoned/vacant home, but residents were evacuated from the home on Myrtle Avenue.

No injuries or transports have been reported, according to El Paso Fire.

Crews are continuing to monitor for flare-ups and hotspots.
