Happy Thursday,
Are you looking for a sensory-friendly holiday activity for your family? Head over to I.M. Terrell Performing Arts Center this Sunday for a performance of “The Nutcracker” reimagined for individuals with special needs or those on the autism spectrum.
North Central Ballet’s sensory-friendly adaptation features the complete two-act ballet with lower sound levels and softly dimmed house lights. The show also offers fidget items, coloring pages and flexible seating in the lobby.
This is the first time in North Central Ballet’s 32-year history that it reimagines a performance of “The Nutcracker.”
Also, we have two weeks left in our year-end campaign and we would love to welcome 400 new members. There is a $2,250 match available for Weekend Worthy readers today only!
If you value my arts and culture reporting, make any donation up to $2,250 to have your impact double! Being your trusted arts source is the biggest honor.
