SAN ANTONIO – New details have emerged surrounding the arrest of a former Holy Cross High School coach, who is accused of illegally recording a fellow coach changing in his office.
According to the arrest affidavit, Armando Arnuffo Flores, 35, was arrested again on Thursday, this time for allegedly illegally recording a 13-year-old girl.

The case centers on a hidden camera discovered in Flores’ office that was being shared by a part-time volleyball coach.
Flores was arrested on Oct. 7 after it was discovered that he allegedly was recording the volleyball coach volleyball coach undressing in his office at the high school.
The new charge now involves an alleged victim identified in court records as a 13-year-old girl, was reportedly recorded changing clothes in the office.

The recordings also allegedly showed Flores having sex with a former staff member inside his office, according to the arrest report. Investigators contacted that victim, but she refused to press charges.
According to the affidavit, the investigation began after a volleyball coach, employed at the school, noticed a hidden camera in the shared office space. In August 2025, Flores allegedly sent a text to the volleyball coach referencing the device and explaining that it “doesn’t work” because there was no memory card inserted. The device was later turned over to school officials, who contacted police.
Detectives executed a search warrant on Flores’s office and recovered a microSD card from the hidden camera, which forensic analysis indicated had been remotely deleted. Investigators recovered thumbnails from the device, including one timestamped October 1, 2025, showing the minor victim changing clothes. The camera was described in the affidavit as an alarm clock–style device, designed to be discreet and unobtrusive.
Investigators further noted inappropriate communications from Flores to a student in 2023, including sexually explicit text messages and images. No word on if additional charges will be filed.
Law enforcement confirmed that no theft or security concerns justified the placement of a surveillance device in the faculty office. School policy does not provide locker rooms for staff, and it is common practice for faculty members, including the volleyball coach, to change clothing in their offices.
During his initial arrest, Flores’ cellphone and other electronic devices were seized and later analyzed as part of the investigation. Text messages recovered from his phone reportedly indicated prior knowledge of the camera and instructions to a former staff member regarding statements about the recordings.
Shortly after his arrest, Flores proclaimed his innocence to WOAI/KABB, stating, “I know the truth, and the truth will come out.”
He criticized the media for their coverage, saying, “You guys are for clicks, and I’m good with that.”
