The Union Kitchen is bringing the holiday cheer with a family-friendly Santa Brunch at all five Houston-area locations. Expect seasonal holiday dishes alongside the full brunch menu plus complimentary photos with Santa from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Guests are also encouraged to bring new unwrapped toys or Walmart, Target or Amazon gift cards to benefit Casa de Esperanza, with donations accepted from December 13 through January 1.
Lights in the Heights on White Oak

In celebration with the annual holiday tradition, Lights in the Heights (which runs 6 to 9 p.m. in the Woodland Heights neighborhood), some nearby White Oak bars are joining in on the fun. EZ’s Liquor Bar & Lounge will rock an outdoor tent with a live DJ; Little Woodrow’s will have cozy holiday cocktails, DJ beats all day and night, and a giant walk-in snow globe photo op; Onion Creek has DJs, and festive indoor-outdoor vibe, and giveaways; and Christian’s Tailgate is going big with karaoke, live DJs, festive photo ops, tasty cocktails and more holiday magic.

Over in San Leon, Pier 6, is getting festively tacky for its second-annual bayside Ugly Sweater bash. Expect a DJ, drink specials, and prizes for the best (or worst) holiday sweaters. The fun kicks off at 5 p.m.

The posh brasserie brings back its most anticipated Le Club du Dimanche of the year with a festive piano night featuring Thomas Cokinos on the baby grand. Expect holiday tunes, seasonal cocktails and plenty of that classic B19 charm.
Hanukkah with Sof HospitalityÂ

Sof Hospitality is celebrating Hanukkah across its restaurants starting Sunday, December 14, with nightly traditions and holiday treats. Hamsa will lead the lighting of the menorah each night at 6:30 p.m., alongside specials on sufganiyot and latke. Doris Metropolitan and Októ will offer their own spins on the classic latke, with caviar at Doris and mini versions with smoked salatim and caviar at Októ. Badolina Bakery rounds things out with fresh sufganiyot and an array of Mediterranean pastries, available individually or by the half dozen or dozen.
