LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – West Texas Hero Homes will hold a blessing ceremony for a new mortgage-free home built for a military family on Monday.
The organization will bless the home for Staff Sergeant Phillip Jason Greenberg at 10 a.m. Dec. 15 at 6901 14th Street in Lubbock. The community is invited to attend the ceremony and celebrate with the Greenberg family.
West Texas Hero Homes is a nonprofit organization that provides homes for military and first responder families in Lubbock. The organization partners with community members and the West Texas Home Builders Association to build and provide mortgage-free homes.
The organization says every dollar donated goes directly into building the next home.
