BIO: Samantha is the editor of Arts Access, a partnership between The Dallas Morning News and KERA expanding arts coverage in the Dallas-Fort Worth area through the lens of equity and access.
Previously, she was the executive editor of Decibel, a community-led journalism project at Austin PBS. Decibel strives to amplify diverse voices in Central Texas through in-depth listening and storytelling.
Before working at Austin’s PBS station, Samantha was the associate producer for Think, the midday talk show at KERA, the NPR and PBS affiliate in Dallas. She also produced multimedia stories for the station. She is a graduate of the University of North Texas where she received a Master of Arts in Journalism.
