One of Highland Park’s priciest estates sold earlier this month for $25.5 million, according to sales records provided to The Dallas Morning News.

It’s one of the biggest home sales in Texas this year.

The mansion at 4000 Euclid Ave. was listed earlier this year for $32.5 million. The deal closed Dec. 1. The buyer was the Maui Kiki Trust U/T/D.

The nearly 19,000-square-foot mansion in Highland Park was designed by Dallas-based architect Robbie Fusch of Fusch Architects and took five years to build, according to previous Dallas Morning News reporting.

The home was completed in 2015, and no expense was spared. The main level boasts a grand foyer topped with a 24-karat gold leaf dome.

Materials from the home were sourced from around the world. The exterior limestone trim was imported from Italy. Limestone floors came from Paris, and fireplace mantels throughout the house were salvaged from grand European estates.

The home has six bedrooms and 13 bathrooms.

Only a few homes in Dallas-Fort Worth are on the market with a higher asking price.

The most expensive home listed in North Texas is the iconic Crespi Estate with an asking price of $64 million.
