Addison, long known for its thriving restaurant scene, corporate headquarters, and entertainment district, is getting a hotel to match its energy. (Seriously, Addison has more restaurants per capita than any city in the United States!) Centurion American Development Group recently announced plans for Hotel Dax, a 426-room boutique property, at 14315 Midway Rd. Set to open Q1 2026, it’ll offer a blend of elevated accommodations, multiple dining options, and versatile event space.

The property is designed to serve multiple audiences: travelers, meeting planners, and local residents looking for a social hub. Phase One renovations will debut with nearly 32,000 square feet of redesigned meeting space, four distinct dining and beverage venues, a resort-style pool, a Topgolf Swing Suite, and interiors crafted by Dallas-based Merriman Anderson Architects. A second phase of development, planned for 2027, will include a full renovation of the hotel’s 426 guest rooms and suites, ensuring a continued focus on elevated design and guest experience.

The name nods to the Dallas Addison Exchange, a recognition of the area’s role as both a business and cultural hub since the town’s incorporation in 1953. Centurion American, the Dallas-based developer behind the hotel, previously transformed the historic Statler downtown into a luxury destination that reopened in 2017. Now, the company is bringing the same vision to Addison.

“Addison has always been at the crossroads of business and hospitality, and Hotel Dax will celebrate that history,” Centurion CEO Mehrdad Moayedi said in a statement. “There is such a high demand for quality meeting space and first-class hotel accommodations that this property can fulfill. We look forward to being an active part of the Addison community.”

Four Distinct Dining Experiences

Hotel Dax will offer four separate venues designed to attract both hotel guests and locals:

Top Brass – an American bistro focused on bold flavors and elevated comfort food, balancing Southern hospitality with a relaxed, approachable vibe.

Bar Dax – a social hub for cocktails, shareable plates, and game watching, featuring communal tables and curated happy hour experiences.

Outdoor Pool Lounge – a landscaped poolside space open to locals and hotel guests, also available for private events.

Brewed – a specialty coffee and grab-and-go market operated by a locally acclaimed brand.

Amenities Designed for Work, Play, and Community

Hotel Dax isn’t just about a place to sleep. The property includes a resort-style pool, a 5,000-square-foot 24-hour fitness center with wellness programming, a Hertz service desk, and a Topgolf Swing Suite. Guests can take advantage of a courtesy shuttle to the new DART Silver Line, connecting to destinations across North Texas, including DFW International Airport.

Event space is a major feature: nearly 32,000 square feet of fully renovated interiors includes 22 flexible meeting rooms and the 7,680-square-foot Trinity Ballroom, suitable for corporate meetings, weddings, and social celebrations.

Dallas-based Dreamscape Hospitality will manage the property, bringing its expertise in lifestyle and boutique hotels. “Hotel Dax represents a new category of hotel for this market, one that prioritizes community connection and genuine hospitality alongside strong business amenities,” said Dreamscape President Adam Patenaude.

Guests will also benefit from Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s loyalty program, linking the property to a global network of hotels.
