CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A Corpus Christi police officer is under investigation following allegations of theft and credit card abuse. Officer Travis Haecker, age not specified, is facing charges after a complaint led to an internal and criminal investigation by the Corpus Christi Police Department.

The investigation, which began on September 18, 2025, resulted in evidence being presented to the Nueces County District Attorney’s Office. Subsequently, three arrest warrants were issued for Haecker, who is charged with theft of property from a non-profit organization, credit card abuse, and misapplication of fiduciary property, according to a press release from the department. On December 12, 2025, Haecker turned himself in to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office and is currently on administrative leave.
