San Antonio bars and hangouts are holding watch parties Tuesday for the matchup between the Spurs and the New York Knicks in the NBA Cup Final.

The Silver and Black will host its own official watch party starting at 7 p.m. at The Rock at La Cantera. The gathering will feature an appearance by the team’s Hype Squad, a raffle for autographed Spurs merch, music by DJ Quake and free drinks while supplies last.

Other spots hosting watch parties include, but aren’t limited to:

— Elsewhere Too, 4513 N. Loop 1604 West

— El Luchador Bar, 622 Roosevelt Ave.

— El Búho, 2710 N. St. Mary’s St.

— Friendly Spot, 943 S. Alamo St.

— Gimme Gimme, 803 S. St. Mary’s St.

Those at home can watch the game on Amazon Prime Video starting at 7:30 p.m. Central.

The NBA Cup has been awarded since 2023, the first year the league launched its soccer-style in-season tournament. This year’s competition marks the first time either team has made it to the tournament’s final game.

The 2025 cup also represents the first time the Spurs have made into any kind of championship situation since the team’s last appearance in the 2019 playoffs. Meanwhile, the Knicks haven’t won an NBA Championship in five decades.

Both Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama and Knicks top scorer Jalen Brunson are expected to play. Neither team has any major injuries.

Those downtown on Tuesday night should expect honking if the Spurs pull off the upset. Indeed, fans went cruising on Saturday after the Silver and Black defeated the 2025 NBA Champion Oklahoma City Thunder to advance to the NBA Cup Finals.

Regardless of whether the Spurs win tonight, one thing is clear, though: the team has graduated past the stage of being an organization still shaping its raw, young talent. San Antonio is back, and the league is on notice.
