A Precinct 4 patrol vehicle was rear-ended on the northbound Hardy Toll Road near FM 1960 while a deputy was monitoring traffic.
The patrol car was legally parked on the shoulder and grass while a deputy monitored traffic. EMS is on scene, and drivers should expect delays as emergency personnel manage the situation.
Drivers are urged to slow down and move over when approaching emergency vehicles stopped on the roadway.
