PLANO, Texas — A 23-year-old Richardson man has been sentenced to 60 months in federal prison for possession of stolen mail, according to U.S. Attorney Jay R. Combs. Sir Darius Lamar Edmondson was also ordered to pay $3,391.31 in restitution.

Edmondson pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Sean D. Jordan on December 15, 2025. The case, investigated by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, revealed that Edmondson was found in possession of stolen mail on October 30, 2023. The prosecution was led by Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul Morris.
