The Houston Symphony has appointed Rolanda Gregory as chief marketing officer, beginning on January 5, 2026. Gregory, a Texas native, goes to the Houston Symphony from the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas, where she was vice president of marketing. Gregory will lead the Houston Symphony’s marketing, patron services, and communications teams; responsibilities will include patron services, advertising, public relations, social media, media, creative and branding, and marketing technology. Prior to the AT&T Performing Arts Center, she was vice president of marketing with FedExForum and the Memphis Grizzlies; she led the strategy for brand and creative, social media, advertising and digital marketing, email marketing, marketing operations, marketing analytics and technology, and youth basketball across Memphis Basketball LLC. Her experience in entertainment marketing began at SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment in Orlando, FL where she led the eCommerce & Digital Marketing Systems team. Prior to SeaWorld, Gregory was director, Client Services and Project Management for MangoMOBILE, where clients included Nickelodeon, AT&T, McDonald’s, CW TV, and Discover Financial. She holds an MBA from Troy State University, a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Texas, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Houston.
