Neighbor says shooting victim pounded on her door asking for help

Sheryl Noble, who lives near the home where the triple murder occurred, said sometime after 2 a.m., a man pounded on her door, asked for help and said his brother had shot him.

“I was scared. Still shaken up,” Noble said. “It’s very unnerving.”

With her blood-stained door behind her, Noble spoke to NBC 5 on her front porch and said she was shaken by the incident that occurred in her neighborhood overnight.

She said she told the unknown man at her door that she didn’t know who he was and that he told her his name was Peanut. She said the man asked if he could come inside.

Instead of opening her door, Noble said she called 911 and dispatchers asked where the man had been shot. She said she told them he said he had been shot in the chest and that an ambulance came and took him to a hospital.

Noble said Peanut didn’t say anything about anyone else being shot.
