Each holiday season, a stretch of Biscayne Drive in Plano, just off Independence Parkway, transforms into one of the city’s most talked-about Christmas light displays. When And Where To Visit
The Biscayne Drive holiday lights typically run from early December through Jan. 1, and in some years extend into mid-January. Lights are generally on nightly from 6 to 10 p.m., with extended hours until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. For the best experience, plan your visit after dark, when the full display is illuminated.
The heart of the display is located in the 2800 block of Biscayne Drive, roughly between 2837 and 2841 Biscayne Drive, where most of the coordinated elements are concentrated. To help keep traffic flowing on this residential street, residents encourage visitors to park along Independence Parkway (where permitted) or on nearby side streets and walk in, which also makes it easier to enjoy the details up close.
A Display With A Giving Spirit
One of the most meaningful parts of the Biscayne Drive tradition is its focus on giving back. While the display is completely free to visit, guests are encouraged to bring monetary donations or canned goods to support Minnie’s Food Pantry.
Look for a clearly marked donation box or “North Pole” mailbox near one of the main homes along the display, where contributions can be dropped off easily.

Before You Head Out
