Multiple projects will affect traffic along Belt Line Road in Richardson, according to a city news release.
What you need to know
Various lanes will close on Waterview Drive between Belt Line Road and Arapaho Road as part of Richardson’s 2024 Asphalt Overlay Project.
Work is scheduled to start this week and is expected to be complete by summer 2026.
What else?
Road closures may also take place to accommodate fiber optic work south of Greenville Avenue and Belt Line Road.
The right lanes of northbound and southbound Greenville Avenue between Polk Street and Phillips Street, as well as eastbound Kaufman Street between McKinney Street and Greenville Avenue, may be closed from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
If eastbound Kaufman Street is closed, traffic will be detoured to Polk Street.
Work started on Nov. 24, and is expected to finish by late December.
