CCPD arrested a driver after a stolen truck fled officers and crashed near McArdle Road and Airline Road. Authorities say no injuries were reported.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi police arrested a driver after a stolen white pickup fled officers and crashed at a busy intersection Wednesday, authorities said.

Police said officers converged on the vehicle in an attempt to confront the driver, but the driver fled, leading to a crash at McArdle Road and Airline Road near Boot Barn.


At least two vehicles were involved in the crash. No injuries were reported.

The driver of the stolen pickup was taken into custody at the scene. Police did not immediately release the driver’s identity or potential charges.
