EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The El Paso Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons unit is currently investigating a shooting that left a woman dead in far east El Paso.
Authorities reported that the incident took place around 1 a.m. on Tierra Rica near Pebble Hills.
EPPD believes the shooting happened after an altercation between a 49-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man outside a house.
Investigators say the woman was taken to the hospital, where she died.
According to police, the man has been detained for questioning.
The Crimes Against Persons Unit is investigating the shooting.
