With the Oregon Ducks as nearly three-touchdown favorites against the James Madison Dukes in the first round of the CFP, Las Vegas has already shifted to the Ducks‘ potential quarterfinals opponents: the No. 4 Texas Tech Red Raiders.

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Oregon has opened as a -1.5 point favorite over Texas Tech in what would be the Capital One Orange Bowl in Miami, FL, on Jan. 1 at 9:00 a.m. PST. The over/under is listed at 51.5 points, a notable point total considering the Ducks scored the ninth-most points per game in the country (38.2) and the Red Raiders scored the second-most points per game (42.5).

Oregon is a -114 moneyline favorite as opposed to -105 for Texas Tech, representing how closely-contested the matchup is expected to be.

Five other potential quarterfinals matchup have also been released: Miami-Ohio State, Texas A&M-Ohio State, Oklahoma-Indiana, Alabama-Indiana and Ole-Miss-Georgia. Each of those are at least -5.5 point favorites, making Oregon vs. Texas Tech arguably the premier matchup in the quarterfinals.
