FORT WORTH – Daniel Castillo Martinez, a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend, joined his loved ones in Heaven on December 15, 2025, at the age of 63. Visitation: 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Greenwood Funeral Home in Memorial Suites C & D, 3344 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107. Funeral Service: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 24, 2025, in Greenwood’s Live Oak Chapel, 3100 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107. Interment to follow in Greenwood Memorial Park. Born on July 14, 1962, in Fort Worth, Texas, Daniel was a man of profound and unwavering faith, and moved through the world with a joy that could only come from the Lord. His God-fearing nature was the foundation upon which he built his family, guiding his daughters with a spirit of peace and divine wisdom. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, who remained his greatest earthly pride and joy. Daniel found peace in nature and cherished time spent camping, often pairing his love for the outdoors with his passion for bike riding and a healthy lifestyle. He loved family vacations and get-togethers, where his infectious love and amazing sense of humor could lighten any situation. Above all, Daniel was defined by his “spirit of the Lord”; he was deeply committed to sharing his faith with his family and friends, ensuring everyone he encountered knew the light of the Lord. Daniel was preceded in death by his mother, Jesusa Castillo Martinez; his sister, Debbie Martinez; and his brother, Raymond Martinez.
