Alexis joined KCBD in February of 2023. She interned alongside reporters before training with evening producers. In June of 2023, she moved to mornings. After her internship, she was given the opportunity to produce the 7 a.m. newscast on Good Day Lubbock.
Alexis is now a full-time evening producer and anchors Daybreak Today on Saturday and Sunday.
Alexis grew up in Northwest Houston. In high school, she was involved in the audio and visual program. Through the program, she was introduced to the school’s newscast, “Third Floor Productions.” That’s when she knew the career she wanted to pursue.
She graduated from Texas Tech in May of 2023 with a degree in journalism and a minor in communication studies.
Alexis loves being a part of the Lubbock community and is excited to keep learning and growing in her time at KCBD, knowing she is on the best team to bring you Coverage You Can Count On.
