They always do it big and beautiful at Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, and the last quarter of 2025 has been no exception.
One fleeting but fabulous home
The brokerage had an exceptionally exclusive opportunity for its annual holiday party this year: a night inside one of the most famous designer showhouses in the world.

Because Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty was a sponsor of the 2025 Kips Bay Decorator Show House in Dallas — its sixth incarnation in the city — executive vice president of marketing Maria Cintron negotiated a private evening inside the house just for the brokerage. The event, dubbed “House Party,” gave advisors and staff free rein to explore the showhouse’s 26 rooms, each decorated by a mix of local and national designers, while a guitar duet played elegant music and drinks flowed.

A light rain added extra sparkle outside and did not deter the crowd. There was a glamorous gridlock of cars waiting to pull up to the front door.
Few places offer no-limits decorating quite like a Kips Bay showhouse, and the celebration doubled as a private look at design trends to come — insight advisors can take directly to their clients, staging strategies, and photography. The Kips Bay Decorator Show House has become a premier design event in Dallas, extending the legacy of the iconic New York showcase that has inspired the design industry for nearly 50 years. Each year, a roster of celebrated interior designers transforms a residence into a showcase of ambitious spaces and ideas for a limited run open to the public.

Proceeds benefit the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club in New York, which serves thousands of young people across the Bronx. The Dallas show also supports Dwell with Dignity, the local nonprofit that provides families in need with fully furnished home interiors, and The Crystal Charity Ball, which funds children’s charities throughout Dallas County.
One permanent and perfect home

Meanwhile, in University Park, Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty has opened another new base for its award-winning real estate advisors. In the Park Cities, where the brokerage was founded in 1960, the new office is located in Snider Plaza, the beloved neighborhood shopping district known for its boutiques and eateries.
The loft-like space centers on a dramatic main area with vaulted ceilings and timber trusses, flanked by glass-walled offices and breakout rooms. A residential-style kitchen supports quick meals and spontaneous conversations. Located above Le Bistrot Bar Sardine, the office is designed for meetings, networking, classes and events.

One seasonal moment has already passed. During the Snider Plaza tree lighting in November, the brokerage, a sponsor, treated shoppers and revelers to fresh-baked cookies from Village Baking Co. and plenty of hot chocolate.
Snider Plaza, a three-block shopping district opened in 1927, remains a cornerstone of University Park. The new Park Cities office expands the brokerage’s presence while reinforcing its 65-year history in the area.

Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty also maintains offices in Turtle Creek, where it occupies two floors of an International Style building along the creek, and in Lakewood, where it is based in a high-ceilinged first-floor suite near neighborhood shops and restaurants. Additional North Texas offices are located in Fort Worth, Fort Worth West, Southlake and Plano/Frisco. The brokerage’s ranch division is headquartered in the Turtle Creek office.
The new Park Cities office is located at 6801 Snider Plaza, Suite 200, Dallas, TX 75205. To explore listings, advisors, services and offices, visit briggsfreeman.com or call 214-350-0400.
