The Madison County Lady Raiders basketball team hosted the Red Raider Christmas Classic last week, where the team picked up its biggest win of the season.
Facing Pendleton on Dec. 19, the team put up a dominant performance, defeating Pendleton 63-9. The game was both the most points scored and the least points allowed by the team all season.
The Lady Raiders fell on the second day of the tournament, losing 53-32 to Rabun County.
The team will now look ahead to a Dec. 27 home meeting with the 6-5 Seckinger Jaguars at 4 p.m.
The Lady Raiders will then play in the McDonald’s Shootout on Dec. 29 and 30 in Hart County.
