A man died during a house fire in Dallas’ Singing Hills neighborhood Sunday, Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesperson Jason Evans said Monday.
Firefighters responded to reports of a fire at the one-story house located in the 1200 block of Whispering Trail at about 11:58 a.m. , Evans said.
Once on scene, firefighters reported seeing smoke and fire coming from the house. The mailman who made the 911 call informed firefighters that people were still inside.
Firefighters worked to first extinguish the blaze and then look for anyone inside, Evans said. The fire was out by 12:30 p.m., officials said.
