The Texas Tech Lady Raiders have earned a spot in the Associated Press Top 25 poll for the first time since January 2012, checking in at No. 21 in this week’s poll. The ranking caps a dominant 14-0 start to the season for Krista Gerlich’s squad following the team’s 61-60 win over No. 15 Baylor in Waco on Sunday to start conference play 1-0. Read more about that win here.

Texas Tech boasts one of the nation’s stingiest defenses and most balanced offensive attacks. The Lady Raiders already own six wins by 30 points or more, with three players averaging 13+ points per game and three more in the top 20 of steals in the conference – showcasing depth and consistency on both ends of the floor.

The Lady Raiders are off for a bit for the holidays before returning to action December 31 at 6pm in Lubbock versus UCF.
