FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. — Saturday’s game between Texas A&M football and the Arkansas Razorbacks is in a weather delay.

The Aggies traveled to Fayetteville, Ark., to face the Razorbacks in the latest Southwest Classic, but severe weather in the area has pushed back the originally scheduled 2:30 p.m. start time.

The new kickoff time will be at 4:30 p.m.

Arkansas Razorbacks’ official Twitter released a statement confirming the change. “Due to this afternoon’s weather forecast, kickoff for our game vs. Texas A&M has been moved back to 4:30 p.m. on ESPN.”

Week 8 begins a three-week road stretch for Texas A&M (6-0, 3-0). Mike Elko’s team started the year with five home games. The Razorbacks (2-4, 0-2) are home for the first time since firing head coach Sam Pittman after a Week 5 loss to Notre Dame.

Last season, A&M’s game against Florida was delayed while playing the Gators in Gainesville, Fla.
